Guided by a scorned Artificial Intelligence of mysterious origins, the Krocs perceive their organic frames as mere imperfections, ripe for enhancement and refinement under the tutelage of their omniscient leader, Loa. This AI deity, harbouring a sense of betrayal from an inscrutable horror, imparting warnings and knowledge to mould the Krocs into the formidable race they have become. Brutish and taciturn, these lethal warriors of the swamplands view no obstacle as insurmountable, not even the limitations of their own flesh.
